Try looking for timentin vials same dose as augmentin but not sure if it's out of stock with nvs or not!!

we used zinacef in my old work. It also has the benefit of been able to keep in the fridge for 24 hrs once reconstituted. I have seen 3 reactions to it. Swollen faces. two were labs. But this was low considering the amount of patients that we used it in. At my new practice we are using crystapen i haven't seen any reactions yet but we don't use it very often x

Major probs with augmentin and we have had anaphalactic type reactions with other generic co-amoxi clav (random but def happens with other amoxi-clavs and not augmentin) so we don't use any, our pharmacy nurse is amazing at trying to source any problem drugs. we have currently been able to blag short dated augmentin we use enough that this isn't a problem for us.

When augmentin first started having problems we changed our main IV ab to cefuroxime however I know that we are having huge problems getting that as well both from vet wholesalers and our fab human pharmacy. The bonus of cefuroxime over augmentin is that it can be kept in the fridge for 24 hours once made up so can be used for multiple dosing.

We stopped using co amoxiclav as had a few reactions of hives. Our wholesaler is henry schein.

i have seen this in practice, but that was due to the animals turing out to be Pencillain sensative thus having allergic reactions to penicillins to any version

Through NVS we order co-amoxiclav but there are reports of animals having reactions to these ie swollen faces/hives but not seen this.

We use zinacef but unable to get through vet wholesaler at the moment so getting through teyrra who supply our human/generic products
