Help!

Hi all,
I have been seeing my current weight clinic patient for the last few months; a 3yr old American Eskimo dog, neutered female. I have got her down to target weight on Hill's metabolic (started 1yr ago) and she is now on Vet Essentials neutered

RE: Problem Weight Clinic! I have had a long chat with a very helpful Hill's tech today who also suggested changing back to Metabolic and that they have had the odd case where it is the only diet that can maintain the weight. The client wants to give the VE a little longer but it looks like we will be heading back to prescription after xmas. I am also looking into Fish4Dogs - we have it on sale in reception and they have a weight management diet which is a cheaper alternative.

Thanks again for your advice! :)

RE: Problem Weight Clinic! May be also chat to the owner regarding exercising amounts as clearly more calories are going in then being burnt off, and I often find owners walk less during the winter months, and hence they then need to feed less food or start walking more...

RE: Problem Weight Clinic! You may never be able to increase the food by very much, so it's about finding the amount of food needed to maintain his weight.

RE: Problem Weight Clinic! She's worked so hard and I don't want to undo it all :/

RE: Problem Weight Clinic!
My apologies if you have already considered this...!

During winter months I have found a lot of my patients gather a few extra rolls due to less outdoor exercise. Could this be a contributing factor?
