Needing abit of advise. i'm considering starting a puppy class at my practice and was wondering what should be discussed at the classes? is there a guide to stick to? Any ideas would be awesome. I'm going to be pitching to head nurse and boss

Re: puppy classes

I would add teaching owners to do health check, ie head to tail exam especially including checking of ears and feet to get the pups used to someone doing it. Saves a lot of problems once puppy has grown up and developed otitis or needs it's nails clipping!

Re: puppy classes

Hi

I did my first one a couple of months ago and I spoke about neutering, worming, flea and tick treatments, insurance, grooming including brushing teeth then let the puppies meet each other, then finished off by taking the pups in turn onto the scales to weigh them and put them on the consult table and gave them a few treats and praise.

There are a lot of articles and previous forum discussions on here :)
