Bizzy Allen-McClure is right Virkon can be added to the washing machine without the need to add extra detergent. Virkon is now available in tablet form for ease and to help ensure the correct measurements are used.

Hi, we use Vetaclean Parvo tablets which we order through Henry Schein. We use 1/2 tablet with a scoop of detergent (both go into powder compartment) for standard daily laundry & 3-4 tablets for infectious/isolation bedding :-)

We used to put Virkon tablets in the washing machine with the bedding from isolation. Im not sure if they are specifically designed for that though? You can soak bedding in Anistel (the old Trigene) but I know thats not what you are after.
