Littman do a good range across the ££. This one is an entry level one

We have range of different makes in the clinic I'm at and I must admit Littman seem to have more clarity. Some places laser print them too. I'm very attached to mine and get most upset when I think I've lost it, sad I know :-/

Hi I've never bought myself an expensive stethoscope as I've had 3 in the past 18months as other people use it and drop it and then it breaks :( I will look at your range though Thanks

I always use Littmann but when I was doing Nurse practitioner exams in used one of the Sprague Stethoscopes - decent quality sound not as good as Littmann but would be ok for monitoring anaesthestics etc but you get what you pay for.

have lost so many stethoscopes over the years I dont spend a lot on them for that reason

which must have been passable as it seemed to disappear with a locum vet

must admit the value type I think provides the best sound is a sprague - I know they are old fashioned, but then so am I
