Worst one i've seen was on a rabbits chin too, was a bit like cottage cheese lol

On the subject of comparing stuff to food ever thought Spaniel's manky ears smell like Cheesy Wotsits??

well, little Thumper made it through the night at vets now and went home friday morning. we will be seeing him again on tuesday!!

on the subject of abcesses, had a very large bigger than golf ball one today under the chin of a 7 month old rabbit, his teeth were overgrown too and you could tell by the teeth, his nutrition wasnt adequate.

Lanced it and got a serious amount of pus out of it and it smelt terrible. Sad thing though is that he didnt come around really well from the anaesthetic, still very sleepy and quite sick and run down, so he was to go to vets now for the night.

I hope he is still alive in the morning, a beautiful white lop ear.

The little horror is out prowling the streets at the mo.

I'll try and get a pic on my phone for all you pus-lovers!!!! It was custardy-type pus - I think that is the best kind, personally......

Not the same type of pus as a pyo - much thicker!!!

(why do we compare everything to food? We are so weird!)

Best one I have seen was in a Guinea Pig, who knows how it got it but was under his chin and was huggge and was the stinkiest ever! poor piggle
