Has anyone used them yet? They look like a cracking idea, and I have to say, I'm really excited about trying them. As he's got older he's got more arthritic and less muscle

RE: Toegrips

Yes, pretty similar... I think Otto's have a bit more of a grippy surface area than those, but hard to tell from from the pic.

Here's the one's on ebay.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-Pcs-Pet-Socks-Cute-Puppy-Dogs-indoor-Pet-Dog-Soft-Cotton-Anti-slip-4-sizes-/301762089498?var=&hash=item0

I got him black for his front feet and yellow for is back feet - he's a large-ish border terrier.

Hope that helps.

RE: Toegrips

I'm rubbish with ebay so I quickly looked on amazon and wondered if this is something you got Jill?

Under £3 for a set of 4, 100% cotton, great grip and well tolerated. Oh and they work - he has great grip and his little face smiles when I put them on!

RE: Toegrips

I trialed these recently and was quite disapointed!

They're a good idea in theory but just didn't seem to do what they said on the package! Also annoying when the patient eats them!!

RE: Toegrips

Helllooo, bit of a slow update! Well, I thought they were going to be great - they were easy to fit and they did seem to help a little, however (1) he could obviously detected them as some sort of foreign material on his toenail, and kept licking at them, and I kept finding them in his bed (2) they fell off - I just couldn't keep them on. They were also a size smaller than recommended from what I remember, because I measured his toenail as described, and he needed smaller than the 'prescribed' size. He's quite a big BT and I got him red ones.

For £25 a set, they're certainly not something I'd recommened to be honest, and I'm pretty sure that you could fashion them out of the right sized plastic tubing yourself.

Hope that helps.

RE: Toegrips

How did the toegrips work?

Re: Toegrips

I saw the ad on here and thought they were such a good idea.
