This will be initially based on cat behaviour, how they think, and why they get stressed in the first place; and will offer practical advice on cat handling, reducing stress, and also advice for owners on transporting etc, which of course is a really important first step.

If you are looking for an entry-level type course then I can highly recommend COAPE's feline courses, specifically (CA2) 'Think Cat - Homing in on the highly specialised but enigmatic nature of the pet cat' and (CA3) 'The Feline Mind - Exploring the psychology of the behaviour of the cat'. You might want to take a look at the feline courses on offer at Compass Education: https://www.compass-education.co.uk/opencart/Cat%20%20courses

Vicky Halls is running a short course 'An Introduction to tackling feline behaviour problems' online via The University of Edinburgh which might interest you (next running 20th January and you have to register by 15th): http://www.cpd.vet.ed.ac.uk/browse/extra_info.asp?modid=1&prodid=61&deptid=3&catid=25&prodvarid=0
