they don't by any chance allow part time training do they ? Leeds is a bit far to stay away from home until the job became secure, but I do have 3 years experience in practices, 1 year in a TP but as night auxilliary not SVN.

I don't think Abbey House take 1st year students unless they have several months/years fulltime experience working at a vets as the environment is very busy so students need to be able to think on their feet and have a certain degree of prior knowledge. This may have changed as it has been a long time since I locummed there but don't be too disappointed if they say no.

That said, if you can cope with pressure, its a fab place to train. High standards and lots of interesting cases. Goodluck x

im on the border of south/west yorkshire lol but looking at anywhere in the yorkshire at the moment before considering actually uping and looking further afield any reason in particular ginny?

its ok the first job i got invited to an interview for did the same thing (the student nurse leaving decided not to leave lol) but its fine, firm believer in all things happen for a reason just gona get earning and save up for my ratty when shes born she'll look like this

yeh when that non-tp one showed up i thought something was going on so hopefully il get that and can start somewhere, im not upset though as i didnt miss out on it so nothing to feel bad for

And yes, all things happen for a reason. Just pick yourself up and try again. You will become stronger for it
