Were doing calculations in lessons but only thing i cant work out is when they use % how do you work out a dose of a drug if they have e.g. A 2.5% solution? &lt;p&gt;Fictional calculation: &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; a 3kg cat needs baytril 2.5% injection at dose of 5mg/kg&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3kg x 5mg = 15mg&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2.5% x 10 = 25mg/ml&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;15 divided by 25 = 0.6ml&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Hope this helps, the way i learnt this may moons ago is i learnt that baytril 2.5% was 25mg/ml and then whenever i forgot how to convert % to mg/ml i always thought back to Baytril :-)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
