The BSAVA manual is very good. Look for anything by karen Overall or Daniel Mills.

are you a member if IVIS.org? Its free and you can read papers and synopsis from world wide congresses etc on behaviour, or search topics. Karen Overall has written several ones on use of medication for behaviour which are very good.

These are more training behaviour rather than the science of behaviour type books but my favourites are 'The other end of the leash' by Patricia McConnell and 'When pigs fly' by Jane Killion. I also have calming signals by Turid Rugaas (http://en.turid-rugaas.no/calming-signals---the-art-of-survival.html - link to really good summary of the book) and I have a few of Karen Priors books too!

I will follow this thread to see if there are any other recommendations to put on my Xmas list!

I have the yellow BAT book for fear, frustration and aggression, and I have MINE! A practical guide for resource guarding in dogs.

Im just looking to expand my library or DVD collection, any resources really to expand my knowledge or help my clients as I have started doing a few basic behavioural consults.

Depends on if you want a specific topic or a more generalised one. I would quite like to have BAT or LAT book to further understand that angle of training. The manual of clinical beh. med. by K overall is always on my list.
