We have started to trial Sterilium vets seem to like it so far and everyone likes how it leaves their hands nice and soft afterwards. Gone are the scrubbing brushes except for your nails :) A local referral practice use it and so does our local RSPCA

again, not in any hospital in the North West - I am aware it is used more in the states than here in the UK. I am training to work in a 'human' operating theatre, working as a scrub nurse for all sorts of procedures and the orthopaedic surgeons here refuse to use anything other than traditional scrub solutions. I wish these companies would not use the NHS as a selling point as it's just not true.

Sterilium, The first scrub of the day is hibiscrub, subsequent scrubs sterilium... unless you have got really dirty for some reason between ops

in fact, i'll even go far as to say that no other nhs hospital within the greater manchester area uses any form of gel apart from the alcoholic stuff for use between patients, certainly not for scrubbing with.

erm.... not sure where that info is from re nhs as we still use pevidine or hibiscrub, there is no solution that my trust is happy to use yet
