One of the vets i work with found a kitten near his home just over a week ago now and i have been hand rearing it.
Now initially she was understandably dehydrated and cold. After warming her up and gave her a feed she perked up very well

Re: hand rearing kitten

When she is 2 weeks I would definitely recommend working her with some panacur paste to help ease the bloated belly. Also I have hand reared a few and find just a very small warm water enema does the trick just to loosen things up and also letting her have a little supervised wander around to get everything moving.

Re: hand rearing kitten

I have hand reared a few for the rspca and at my old job, the 3 i had at my old job had the same thing, and i found swell as rubbing her to try and get her to pass faeces i used to sit and rub there belly - obviously not too hard.

Another place that may be worth contacting is the feline advisory bureau - I found them very helpful when I had a few issues with the last two i had.

How old is the kitten??
