Sorry... did you inject with the 19g for Clamoxyl or did you change to a smaller gauge? thanks :)

Don't know if i'm being too paranoid but you hear so many people saying they were penalised for the little things and once they add up... :s ! The more I read them the more things I think of lol!

Hi there,

I just had my first attempt in March and passed.

For mine restraining methods I explained how they should do it. My ear swab task the examiner did do this after I told her how i'd like her to restrain my patient but for my injecting one the examiner just told me to pretend he was but I still explained briefly.

I counted out my tablets by hand there was no other way such as triangle counter.

For IM injections we were taught blue needle / 23G and yellow for Clamoxyl/19G

Needle caps I can't remember what I did I think I just put them in normal waste

Urine I just put it in the bin no towel or anything, college told us it didn't matter

Tube feeding- you are given the amount for 24 hours so you just need to divide it by how many meals.
