thanks for your help guys but i rung her today and she told me she had others to interview but was i i still interested i said yes but told her about the SVN position and she said well lets just leave it here then thanks for you time bye ........... so back to asda it is? lol i duno i supose its for the best the job was advertised at 3 shifts a week on average but it turned out to be about 6 which would destroy my chances of weeky veterinary experience so turned out for the best really, the 6 morning shifts i would have had to do at the cattery would only equal 2 nights shifts so i might aswell go back there if the SVN doesnt come out but fingers crossed it will

thanks for everything those guys as i did see what kind of boss she was in the end

As a cattery owner, if she wants you she would be willing to wait. Also you are not working over Easter so she is not in a great rush for your help( having 2 weeks off) and I would have thought she would be understanding if you told her. I agree with Gillian if she does not then it shows what sort of boss she would be

I am still keeping my fingers crossed for the SVN job

Ask the boss at the cattery to wait while you hear about the other job. Can' see why they'd say no, as an SVN job is obviously better! If they do, it may give you an idea of the type of boss they'd be......
