Hi, we do pamidronate infusions on our osteosarcoma patients as an adjunct to chemo. Same class of drug as zoledronic acid. Www.prideveterinarycentre.co.uk. Based in derby.

Just looked it up on Wiki. Doesn't look like cancer therapy just something to treat the bone to prevent fractures and possibly help with pain. (Not that I always believe wiki).

It doesn't look like its very good for the kidneys though. I would ring the VRCC also and see what the advise is and refer them to a clinic that can really discuss this with owners.

Yes I would have said VRCC too. although in Essex they are completely dedicated to cancer care so suspect if any one was doing it they would.

Althought they are based in the south the VRCC might be able to point you in the right direction

hmmm not sure if we offer that...I don't think we do, but what I can find out zoledronate is a biphosphonate not radiotherapy, it's used in conjunction with it in the states.

have you referred him to us for RT? sure if we could do it or even recommended it. we would
