I went to a talk that Sarah Heath gave last week at The Dogs Trust in Shrewsbury and she said she hoped another version of her book would be out soon as it was written 20years ago and she admited she would rip some of the pages out! Her clinic in Chester is always very helpful so maybe give them a call and ask what books they would recommend.

I did the BVNA behavour course and it has been great value - it was Sarah Heath and David Appleby that did it then.

Sarah Heath is always an author I've admired in the behavioural world, just did a quick search and she has her usual one "why does my cat.....?" but there was this one too which looks good, being both feline and canine might be an interesting read!

Does anyone have any recommended reading, I have the BSAVA guide but i'd really like other resources.

Two which would be good are the BVNA course, though it requires attendance, or COAPE (Centre of Applied Pet Ethology) who have a variety of behaviour courses, including distance learning. Hope that helps. :)
