Bosses not interested, sorry! We use packs of pre-sterilised transparent disposable plastic drapes and are very happy with how they perform. No chance same could be made in disposable plastic? If so, they might have improved opportunity of at least a trial at my practice?

We stitched together older drapes to different sizes for vet to slide over limbs once autoclaved, the vet then secures with autoclaved coflex, seems to work well for us during cruciate surgeries.

I like, (we all know the issues with slippage and multi-drapes etc but for me as a nurse it's more simply the avoidance of the requirement to use use drape clips and consequent pinched skin. The only drawback might be putting them on too tightly or becoming too tight with limb swell??, Don't know...) So, am sending link to my bosses to see if they might be interested as we do a lot of orthopaedic referrals....
