[/quote] Forgot the geriatricts. We had on site anaesthetist too who used to use different drugs for the at risk patients

5mg/ml is all we have at the moment..

Don't forget that you have 0.06ml in the hub of the needle, if you draw up the ACP and the opioid together, you flush in a little extra ACP and this can cause extra sedation. (Most noticeable with the 5mg/ml ACP, because the extra dose had so much more acp in it!)

I always used 0.01mg/kg with a max volume of 0.5mls ie 1mg

We use a standard dose of 0.02mg/kg
