Sorry but EURGH small furries (Except Ferrets :)), yeah sure they make nice pets & all especially Guinea pigs lol love them but I've found theres not enough on them & me & a few friends have all said the anaesthetics are awful & then the rabbits coming round have the canabalistic tendancies the rabbit ops are great to watch & learn from & I love rabbit abbcesses lol but I'm sorry but I'm not a huge fan of the small furries but would love to learn more on them. But give me dogs, cats, ferrets & horses any day xxx

Like you, I am really interested in small furries and was looking to do some more to further my knowledge in them. I was supposed to go to a lecture run by the APBC back in October that was on small furry behaviour, but unfortunately had to cancel due to the date being changed. However, from what it said it was going to cover it sounded as though it would have been really interesting, althoughI don't know how much it covered specific to guinea pigs. I don't know if they were planning to run the "Making your practice behaviourally aware" lectures again, but if you were interested in this sort of thing the part of their website to keep an eye on can be found here http://www.apbc.org.uk/events .
