Is anybody else on here doing this, or has anybody already done it? Was it a good course?

I really enjoyed it and my practice is now looking at charging for my consults. The more you do the more confident you become. I didn't charge until I was qualified and I explained to clients what I was doing. The course tells you how to manage consultations, how to assess different behavioural issues and start a treatment/behavioural plan. At first you just have to be prepared to discuss your course with the client and explain that if you feel under qualified for the situation you can then look at referrals. Hope you enoy the course, Sam is very good!

Re: NCert (ANBeh) Anyone doing this?

Hi was wondering what qualifications this gives you in the sense of behaviour consultations etc.. can you then undertake behaviour consults and charge for them? Is your knowledge sufficient or is this more a indroductory? thanks

Re: NCert (ANBeh) Anyone doing this?

I completed this course last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location and facilities are great at Swindon. Sam Lindlay is a great speaker who has years of knowledge and gives excellent support throughout the course, even in between the modules if you are struggling with your own cases. Good luck and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Re: NCert (ANBeh) Anyone doing this?

I completed the first 4 units, Sam is an excellent tutor and it was a really friendly group. Sadly they stopped holding the course in manchester so I dropped out ( I was already leaving at 4.45am to drive down and could no way make Swindon. I am now on the COAPE Friendly Canine practice course.
