I was looking for a bit of a hand from any central belt Scottish nurses that could suggest a good, reputable dog class near Bellshill (Hamilton I think!) Any help is mucho appreciated :)

the cumbernauld one apparently will happily recomend prong collars for pullers so not sure if this would be the kinda class you'd be looking for, for a nervous dog.

Cumbernauld dog training club does NOT advocate prong collars, my mother is one of the trainers, and I have attended for years. There is another club in Cumbernauld which started classes 2 years ago approx which do use them (I shall not name them) the trainer is a guy called John and he left the training club to start up his own classes. The club are in no way connected with him and do no allow harsh training methods.

The one I took Jack to was fantastic. Was run by Jan Debnam, who was training by Anne McBride at Southampton Uni. It was all about positive training, with clickers and food. She did the world of good for Jack.
I have a client that stays in Bellshill with an extremely nervous 16wk collie so I thought I'd go on recommendation rather than just a list of classes for her to pick from. TBH I have no idea how far Cambuslang is from Bellshill!
