lol ive got my mum to thank for such an attitude, i came home from my oh's sobbing my heart out, not really coz of the job but just feeling worthless, (stupid as it sounds but thats what a period does to you) and she just sed it prolly wasnt meant to be and the next one is closer anyway, just dust yourself off and try again

shes a strong women, i admire her alot for what shes going through at the moment but thats another story

and yes missvetnurse i will keep you informed, am sat at home on tenter hooks waiting for my little ratty to be born, apparently the breeder says her mummy is ready to drop!! how exciting i cant wait!!

and thanks again for all your support, i see now it was prolly for the best and if i dont get this next one....erm duno lol!

hey guys just to let you know i wasnt successful after the final two, they gave it to the other candidate, the unfortunate thing it that when they phoned me they said they couldnt give me a reason why because we were both the same, they said it was just unfortunate that we both applied at the same place id just like to know what the deciding factor was really, coz obviously they did finally choose so........

but after having a big cry, im starting to think it was for the best as ive now got another interview at a practice (yes i have to go through all this again!!) but its only 30mins from my house so, closing a door and opening a window as they might say

as my mum said i have to dust myself off and try again, i dont regret any of it as i now can monitor ana's, pre-meds, etc etc, just from my interview days so hopefully i can use that in this interview and hopefully be successful

plus i cant be unhappy at the moment as im waiting for my gambian rat to be born with its breeder

il start another thread for the next interview so look out and thanks guys, i am sorry ive dissappointed you all

hey guys, been to the vets todays, went really well, enjoyed everything and actually got to do something, really hope to get this job they said they would ring me today and they tried to ring me on the way home and left a message to ring back, so i rang and ones gone home and the other is on her dinner so got 20mins to wait to ring back, absolutely reeling sat here waiting

me too =) looking forward to going to a nice practice as ive had a crappy day at my work exp practice today =( being shouted at by a moody vet and the head nurse kicking me around the practice with a mop bucket all day and complaining at me when others did something wrong, with her excuse being that shes hormonal and im STILL here, so id call that dedication wouldnt you!! lol

hey guys just bringing an update! well ive had two more work exp days since i spoke and have been cleaning, washing and putting together kits and stuff, so all practice for the big day.

also i started at a new practice in york and one the vets there was married to someone at the vets ive got the interview at!! so she said she'd put in a good word for me as ive been so helpful all day small world!! they were all so nice tho even tho it was my first day, all very thankful for me running around with cloth's and a mop all day so hopefully il be ready for the big day, still excited!!!

anyways just an update and il keep u all informed after the big day, fingers crossed please!!

ooo had a word with my current manager too and apparently because i only work shifts which are considered "ovetime" basically i dont have an actual contract so if i did get the job i could start immediately

will obviously have to tell them this when i go for my half day

and thank you to everyone for their support, its nice to have somewhere to get it all out to people who are on the same wavelength, anyone else is like "well if you dont get it just get another one" yeh coz its that easy!!

but anyway rant over! im so happy ive got this far and really hope i am successful in the next stage as this is really what i want to do, ive been volunteering for 4 years and i still love it =) so we shall see FINGERS CROSSED!!
