HI Katie, the masters is really good, definitely worth considering! It was a lot more work than I expected though, even though I was a full-time student and we actually only had lectures on a monday and tuesday, we were expected to do a lot of work outside of that (and I had a part-time job which made it that bit harder to keep up!). I definitely found it challenging, but in a good way, I think!

It is a really useful degree though I thik, and definitely a useful additional skill to being a vet nurse (plus being from a vet nurse background you should have a lot of useful practical skills and additional knowledge that will be useful on the course - I had done BSc in Veterinary Sciences, so basically just a science degree, and I felt like the vet nurses had a lot more practical skills and experience to offer than I did!).

When do you finish your VN degree? I think fees may be going up quite a lot in 2012 along with all the other uni fees which is not great...

My masters is in Clinical Animal Behaviour at the University of Lincoln.
