Frontline Combo caused the worst one with scab and oozing also which looked for all the world like a burn and took weeks to heal, which is why I will not use it now - but Advantage caused a sore patch as well only not so severe, less of a reaction to Stronghold.

I am generally very careful with any spot on - nearly lost one of my own cats through Tiguvon (if anybody can still remember it?)

Re: promeris flea tx

We put it on our practice cat after a rep leaving some.
I wrote on the original site how this product sedated my Akita (she could barely stand- husband was totally panic stricken).

Due to this we do not stock, sell or recommend this product at my practice. Never heard of a reaction in cats as I believe the sedation causing chemical is not present in the cat version. I have used the cat version without problems.

Re: promeris flea tx

http://retired.vetnurse.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=7366&SearchTerms=promeris
