Hi

We are using calmivet, it is so much better than acp!!!

[/quote]

thats a bit odd since calmivet is ACP only a different strength, they both are acepromazine

Re: discontinuation of acp

I was told it was permanently discontinued but may be wrong.

We've been using Calmivet for the past couple of months now and apart from getting used to the different dose rate, can't say I've noticed any difference whatsoever. Just means you need to use tiny weeny syringes for cats!

Re: discontinuation of acp

Has it definately been discontinued?
We are using calmivet, it is so much better than acp!!! The only downside is that it maybe takes slightly longer for the animal to recover (this was noted by a collegue, can't say i have noticed). You use a much much smaller dose but yet it is so much more effective..... recommend it all day long! The dose is kg x 0.006 i think although don't quote me on that.

Hope this helps

Re: discontinuation of acp

thank you.

Re: discontinuation of acp

Here's a past thread discussing it, hope it helps.
