I really like the Glasgow pain score used to use it for all patients where I used to work

Go to www.aht.org.uk then click on Small Animals, then click on Anaesthesia and there you will find pain scoring instructions and sheets for cats and dogs that can be printed/downloaded.

Try contacting animal care - they have a really nice pain score chart based on the glasgow one. Got mine from BSAVA a couple of years ago. If you buy their buprenorphine you should not get any 'trouble' getting hold of a pad of them!

I find kitties very hard to pain score - so many different poses for in pain kitties-and some even purr!

Metacam are doing some pain scoring which they have good pictures for and they have some really good client leaflets.
