Some spikes but just overly long. After dental put weight back on.

Probably recovery would be better and doing some syringe feeding. Suppliments in the diet food also.

Re: Ernie - Losing Weight

Thanks guys he wont let me see his molars - too wriggly - but no drooling/pawing at mouth/eating on one side of mouth/cant feel any bony lumps - but yeh think I will need to get his teeth checked - tempting with broccoli, grape, parsley, carrot, anything to get him to eat - hes tiny compared to beefy Burt!!!!!!

Re: Ernie - Losing Weight

Definitely get his molars checked. My old degu started to lose weight though eating okay, but when he had his dental check there was molar spurs. Is he salivating more than normal or can you feel any bony lumps around his jaw?

Hope all goes okay with Ernie

Re: Ernie - Losing Weight

what are his backteeth like?
