Just wondered if there is any chance that you could upload/fax/email a copy of this to me please, as we dont use buprecare the rep is getting a bit funny with me ordering one!

We use 0.04ml per cate and 0.1ml per 1k for dogs, we put a max dose of 0.25mls for dogs once we found dogs were taking a long time to come round once sevo switched off! No problems since this.

We are using Calmivet at a 1/3 of the dose of ACP, however this does tend to mean a dose of 0.01ml for cats and reduced dose on dogs, not ideal, but working fine so far. We had initially used 1/2 dose, but we had a series of VERY low heart rates (requiring atropine) and very sleepy animals, this was top end of dose recommended. We already run a system where some animals get no ACP/Calmivet anyway where the cardiologists have advised it.

i did one for my last practice and can't remember it anymore but i think it worked out to 0.01ml/kg so a 3kg cat would need 0.03ml but i did the chart a couple of months ago and we hadn't needed to use it when i left

We are planning to use Dorbene for <10kg as the doses are so tiny and then calmivet for anything over 10kg. Buprecare do a stick on to cover the acp part on their poster.

We haven't been using it diluted just straight from the bottle - no problems so far we just stuck labels EVERYWHERE reminding people that the strength is different. I'd love to know if it can be diluted though...

generally the vets have been discussing that acp/calmivet may not mix well with water for injection. i think it may also be illegal / def off licence to dilute it down,
