&lt;p&gt;As far as diluting Calmivet goes - I don&amp;#39;t think I&amp;#39;d be comfortable with that. If you use the 0.3ml graduated insulin syringes, you can draw up really accurate tiny doses of drugs, and I think that is what I&amp;#39;d prefer to do.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;If healthy patients and no acp then suggested medetomidine combined with&amp;nbsp;a opioid and in the sick patients benzodiazepine + opioid depending on how sick they are of course.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;My practice had a chart given to us by a rep that had pre-med dose rates on for ACP and&amp;nbsp;medetomidine for use with healthy and unwell cats - its fabulous and I&amp;#39;ve always found the patients have a really good (light) sedation with it.
