Some of it is down to the amount of companies that are merging or being swallowed up by bigger ones who already have an equivalent drug on the market so are having to sell on certain drugs and then the new company has to remarket/ relicence etc.... I think something along tjose lines will happen with the insuvet range of insulins....

not sure but my ex works for the Lancet and may have some incite, will ask and see.

I know its a totally different product but I can remember aureomycin going on back order for ages when I was at a previous practice and we decided to use orbenin instead - as I say a completely different product but would it be of any use to your practice?

suppose it would depend on what you were using it for? as there are many drugs out there that aren't necessarily used for all the things that aureomycin would be used for but may be used for some? would terramycin be an alternative?

We are trying to find one!

Apparently one of the companies are making a replacement but it hasn't been launched yet... may be Dechra? Might be making it up - one of the vets told me the other day!
