Me too! We had a case in about 3 weeks ago, a rough collie that had eaten part of it's own leg! (we think post adder bite) The wound was about 8mm deep, 12cm wide and 25cm long. The great news is, after using manuka honey it is only about 4cm wide and 12-15cm long!!!!

What a great product.

I did hear that Dechra were planning on doing a wound care CPD, almost along the sames lines as their online free fluid therapy cpd. Whether it is free or not, I do not know. But i'm going to be keeping my ears peeled for any further info on that (unless anyone knows otherwise!!!!)

Ah brilliant thanks guys for your info. Shelly I can ask but Im sure they wouldnt pay out for that But Il have a look at the books you guys recomended see how I get on with those......... An idea for my christmas list xx

See if maybe you can convince your practice to register as a member of www.vetwoundlibrary,co,uk cost is £138 per year and get free access to various case logs, advice from professionals, monthly newsletter updates in new dressings, you can also submit details about difficult or unusual cases and they will send you FREE dressing materials they think you should try on that case!!
