I've never seen one. How does mummy rabbit react to baby rabbit afterwards? Do you have to be careful seeing as most will kill or ignore their babies if you touch them?

The caesar I saw where the babies lived, the mum was okay afterwards. The babies were handled minimally and held in a small facecloth which had been rubbed over mum before using on the babies. The first few feeds were assisted as they were not feed that well but mum was cleaning them and nesting well.

The other caesar only had one kit but had already died.

Re: Rabbit cesarean

I'm not sure but the lady whose rabbit was was a breeder with a rabbit that had a litter a few days before so she took the baby to put onto that mother as mummy rabbit had a hernia op too.

Re: Rabbit cesarean

I've never seen one.
