It was suspected pancreatitis so this was the treatment regime. The dog was in acute pain and moaning. It passed mucoid motions with streak of fresh blood, yellowy in colour. We did an abdo xray

Re: any ideas?

As far as I am aware lungworm could mean bleeding from anywhere. We have had a few cases (a couple that died) that hadn't been coughing. One of them just seemed to bleed out under the skin on it's neck! It's really horrific to see, poor dog.

Re: any ideas?

-ve for parvo, previous hx was that it was going to be screened for epi.

Re: any ideas?

With lungworm you would normally see coughing, maybe with blood in the phlegm coughed up. Not usually diarrhoea as far as im aware anyway with the lungworm cases ive come across.

My guess would be poisoning, maybe parvo? If the dog wasnt vaccinated?

Re: any ideas?

That was my thought - somesort of poisin/toxin ingestion- any contact with rat bait or any thing?
