I understand some practices still carry out the use of Hibi + Iodine. Do you know where I can find the source that says you should not use Hibiscrub &amp; Iodine as they inactivate eachother? <p>We use chlorhex on all but eye, ear, mm surgery, and open wounds, which are all prepped with diluted non foaming iodine and sterile saline. The vets at our branch all scrub up&nbsp;with chlorhex, and (mostly!) wear gloves!
