The survey compared the prices charged by veterinary practices

RE: Survey shows 'staggering' price difference between vets and online pharmacies

and as an example the price of opptimune at £23.86 is cheaper than we can buy it from our wholesalers - so would be interested to know where this is being sourced, at what price, and what sort of markup is being made on it?

Internet pharmacies dont have the same overheads, they dont have the same investment in staff, equipment and buildings and they are able to source drugs at well below the cost of most practices. If practices struggle to survive in the long term it could result in fewer practices, fewer places for owners to take sick animals for treatment and fewer vets to sign prescriptions and further to that fewer internet sales.

So, Vet-Medic and others -I feel it is pretty foolish to bite the hand that feeds.
