We deal with a client who rehomes and rescues a lot of ferrets, I think if i could explain the various vaccinations etc to her I think she would be up for vaccinating etc . Thanks :)&lt;/p&gt;

I think that princess may well be right about the ferrets owners being unwilling to spend money as they are seen as dispensible. I do not agree that this is right, by any means, my ferrets have vaccines etc. But i also think that vets need to be more proactive about ferret care, I had to do all the research myself when I went to vax my first ferret, none of the vets had any idea about the vax protocall.&lt;/p&gt;

Is the lack of vaccinations, etc a case of lack of education or lack of willingness on the part of ferret owners to spend money. Do some/many ferret owners perceive their animal as a low-budget pet or working animal (how many farm collies get their annual jags, etc?)? &lt;/p&gt;
