Think of the stray centres etc. Life wuld be so much nicer for the poor pets of genuine homes that get lost or stolen. Animals should be scanned at every appt as a matter of course I think.&lt;/p&gt;

Then maybe we wouldnt be overrun with status symbol bull dog breeds. &lt;/p&gt;

There are many pet owners who lack full responsibility and general husbandry. &lt;/p&gt;

Where in people have to take a course on basic animal husbandry, vaccinations, general feeding guidelines etc etc etc I don&amp;#39;t really see where just a microchipping petetion would make a huge difference!&lt;/p&gt;
