This year, BVNA are looking for 5 full members and 2 student members to stand for election onto BVNA Council. The Council is made up of a team of Veterinary Nurses from around the UK who work tirelessly on a voluntary basis, and have complete belief in what Veterinary Nursing can achieve.
What would inspire you to stand for #BVNACouncilElections2020?
Following the results from our recent Council member survey:
· 92% of Council members were inspired to be elected because they wanted to make a positive difference to the profession and industry
· 73% were inspired to be elected to be involved in decisions that affect their profession
· 65% said they were motivated with the opportunity to help shape the future of BVNA
Making friends and learning new skills
Results from the survey also demonstrated the top highlights of being on BVNA Council were making new friends, learning new skills, the feeling of being part of a community and working with like-minded, passionate and influential people who are keen to make a difference in the Veterinary Nursing profession.
