&lt;p&gt;As with any new job, your first week can be daunting. Not only are there all the practice policies and rules to absorb, but often a frightening array of office equipment and gadgets to get to grip with.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Unfortunately, there are so many different makes of each different piece of equipment that this section could not possibly offer step-by-step instructions for them all. Rather, it is the aim of this chapter to offer a checklist of information that a receptionist may need to familiarise themselves with in order to do the job efficiently.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
